The physiotherapy unit at Istishari Arab Hospital plays an important complementary role in the patient recovery process to help restore movement and function to people disabled by disease or injury, in addition to treat a group of medical conditions affecting the brain, the musculoskeletal system and spine.

The unit offers many treatment options that include different modalities such as manual therapy, ultrasound, therapeutic exercise, it also provide many educational sessions to help the patients understand their medical conditions.

The unit is led by physical therapists who they work in multidisciplinary teams to develop an individualized treatment plan for each person after a thorough evaluation using the latest technology, also collaborate with experts in nearly every specialty to deliver effective, personalized care.

Physiotherapy Head

Ihab Hmooz

Physiotherapist Ihab Hmooz is a Rehabilitation and Physical Therapist with more than 20 years of experience. He is currently the Head of Physical Therapy Unit in Istishari Arab Hospital and manager of Sineen Rehabilitaion center in Ramallah.

Prior to joining Istishari Arab Hospital in Ramallah, Ihab in several hospitals and nursing homes in the United States as a physical therapist, also worked in Ukraine and Palestine ( UNRWA- refugees camps), as a physical therapist.

P.T Ihab graduated from the Faculty of Rehabilitation from the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine / Kiev.
